Hello my BEEEEAUTIFUL Janet family, I'm Erika (aka popbeauty85e in the other JJ forums) from New Orleans La. I have been a fan since 90 or 91 and a "fanatic" since 1997... :-p I know we are all upset about the recent occurances with IDJ. I already went on my little rant but let's stop wining and channel all that energy into something positive. Here is the link If u wanna complain to IDJ. http://www.islandrecords.com/site/contactus.php With that said... Let's get acquainted. C'mon on and introduce yourself. Tell us where ur from and how long you've been a fan. xoxoExoxo

Well I'm Darren :) I'm 22 and got into Janet when I was 12 and my dad was stupid enough to let me go see the Velvet Rope Tour. I didn't know much about Janet, but needless to say after that show I quickly became a fan.

Hey there Janatics, I'm Thomas from London and I have been a Janet fan since 1986 and have seen her on the RN, Janet and VR tours. I've stood by her through thick and thin, cos quite simply, I've got her back! Her music has really helped me through the most traumatic times in my life, and she always managed to pull me through, from bereavement to depression. Janet- I love ya! T :-)

Yeah Thomas I can relate... Janet sure has a way of writing music that can bring you out of the darkest places. That's why VR is my favorite album. Janet truly connects with her fans.

hey girl,i´m an american house singer living in germany working in milano.i´ve been a fan of janet since Good Times. most people think jan started with the control album and forgot or didn´t know there were great records before that with that minneapolis sound. you can check it out on youtube of course. jan is so amazing. here in europe, the scandal of the super bowl skit was a joke. no one took it that seriously as americans do. we still remain prude.IT´S A BOOB!! since then we´ve seen her career take a sloop, whatever the reason they want to say it is. the albums after that were excellent, but it takes a true J.J. fan to say it. i´m sad that the say there will be no more releases from DISCIPLINE. this record is fantastic!" so much betta" could be a european smash and they say she´s not coming here to promote it. i´m sad. so sad. they love to build you up just to drop you down hard. first the album was IT...now they´ve lost faith. i refuse to. i love janet. with all my heart. and the next one will be bought too. head high people...head high. D´mia

I try not to worry too much about sales and charts. Or course, I want Janet to do well and it's disappointing that an album as good as Discipline isn't being given a chance for whatever stupid reasons. But at the end of the day it's out of my control and, honestly, I'd love her music just as much if nobody bought it but me. I'm happy that after two decades in the business, she still has so many fans and so many people who enjoy what she's doing. That's what most any artist hopes for. No one stays on top forever, but build that fan base and you can keep doing what you love for as long as you like. That's something to be proud and happy about! I really think the first half of the cd - Feedback, Luv, Rollercoaster, Rock With U, 2nite and Can't B Good - is an absolute masterpiece. That's not to say that I don't like the rest, but mostly I can't get past that point before I start it all over again. Rock With U, in particular, sets my world on fire.

Hi my name is Yanina I have been a fan of Janet's since Control album. I have been to five concerts. Two in maryland , one in Pennsylvania two in DC. Im also very mad at JDJ for not backing up the album. I think 2Nite would have been a big dance hit and single. The Song so much Betta Would have been a very good single and possibly the sing with Missy but the only problem with that song Missy needs to re rap it so it would be appropriate for radio. My four year old daughter is used to listing to Janet in my car all she wants to hear is Janet. By the way I have 3 kids. !0, 4 and 9 months.

Hi Peoples! My name is Kierra and I've been a janet fan since i was 5 years old. I heard my first Janet Jackson song when I was three years old. When I finally knew who she was, I was 5 years old. I saw her on MTV, the video "Nasty". After that, i became so loyal, just like that! I'm 12 now and I'm still reppin' Janet!!!

Hey everyone,

I've been a UK Janet fan since my Michael Jackson tape broke in 1989 and my brother lent me his Rhythm Nation tape! From that moment on there was no turning back! None of my friends like Janet - ggrrr - so I love going on Janet Friends to keep up to date with all the latest goings on! It is up and running again by the way for anyone who has missed it!

Take it easy,

Lola :o)
